Writing Songs 1

This is a six week series (one two-hour session per week) focusing on getting the juices flowing in a supportive and encouraging group space. With group writing exercises, prompts to take home and write new songs, media and inspiration from other songwriters, and a space to share in process and completed songs, this songwriting workshop is a great way to hold yourself accountable to the craft while being in community.

Take the perfectionism out of the songwriting process and focus on creative freedom, play, and expression. Expose yourself to other songwriters and get inspired in new ways.

The class is a sliding scale, pay what you can, $150-$300 in total.

Winter 2024 workshop dates are Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm. (1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27)

This class takes place in-person, location pending but either in Burlington, VT or just surrounding.
